We are growing here at Daanaa and are looking for an Hardware Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of our next-generation power electronics and semiconductor hardware. In this role, you will execute PCB design and layout, support prototype bring-up and hardware validation, troubleshoot electrical issues, and contribute to reliable, manufacturable hardware designs through commercialization.

What You'll Do

- Develop and modify electrical schematics and PCB layouts, including component selection, placement, routing, library management, and design revisions.
- Apply sound electrical and PCB design practices related to signal integrity, grounding, creepage, clearance, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
- Support prototype board bring-up and execute electrical characterization, verification, and validation using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, and other laboratory equipment.
- Analyze and document test results, measurements, and hardware performance to support engineering decisions and design improvements.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues at the component, PCB, and system level, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Support component selection, design reviews, engineering changes, PCB revisions, hardware releases, and manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Contribute to improving hardware reliability, performance, quality, and manufacturability through the product development lifecycle.

What You'll Bring




- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or hardware engineering, with experience in PCB design, hardware development, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Strong foundation in schematic capture, PCB layout, analog and digital electronics, power electronics, component selection, and electrical design principles.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools and translating engineering requirements and schematics into accurate, manufacturable hardware designs.
- Practical experience with prototype bring-up, electrical testing, and characterization using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to use schematics, datasheets, measurements, and test data to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to design quality, accuracy, documentation, and manufacturability.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned work, execute accurately and on schedule, and progressively operate with greater independence.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills when working with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with power electronics, power conversion, semiconductors, automotive, renewable energy, or other complex electronic systems is an asset.

Your Compensation and Benefits Package: Daanaa’s compensation package is based on a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical salary range for this position is from $85,000 - $110,000 annually. This may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
