About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Health Care Aide (HCA) / Caregiver to provide personal care and daily support to a private home care client in Calgary NW.

The client has limited mobility and requires total care, including assistance with transfers, personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 care to seniors in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
- Document & report care notes using mobile apps and scheduling tools
- Experience with dementia care is a strong asset
- Comfortable using smartphones/apps for scheduling and charting
- Ability to work independently and adapt to clients’ individual needs
- Provide compassionate and respectful personal care and daily support.
- Assist with transfers and repositioning using appropriate lifting equipment.
- Safely operate mechanical and manual lifts.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Follow the client's established care plan and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate respectfully with the client and family/care team.
- Reliable mode of transportation

Qualifications & Requirements
- Health Care Aide (HCA) certification or equivalent caregiving experience preferred.




- Previous experience providing care to seniors with limited mobility or requiring total care is an asset.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience operating mechanical and manual lifts is required.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful approach to caregiving.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional language skills are preferred.
- Must be able to commit to the required schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
- Ability to work independently in a private home setting.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
