Established in 1990, Nusite has been serving commercial and residential clients for over 30 years. Nusite is certified for material applications, spray-applied equipment, and blindside waterproofing. We complete work on shoring, exterior walls, interior surfaces and roofs, we also carry manufacturer warranties on all the products we install.

Nusite is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to support multiple construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area. The successful candidate will lead site health and safety activities, conduct regular inspections and hazard assessments, promote compliance with company policies and applicable legislation, and work closely with supervisors, workers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain safe job sites. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can identify and address risks, deliver safety guidance and training, maintain accurate records, and follow up on corrective actions.

Experience in construction—ideally waterproofing or Division 7—is strongly preferred.

Role and Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits across active projects, documenting findings and required corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, applicable regulations, client requirements, and Nusite health and safety policies and procedures.
- Identify unsafe conditions and work practices, stop work when an immediate danger exists, and coordinate timely corrective measures with supervisors, workers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare, review, and maintain site-specific health and safety plans, emergency procedures, hazard assessments, safe work procedures,



and inspection records.
- Lead site orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and task-specific training, and verify that workers have the required training, certifications, and personal protective equipment.
- Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage; identify root causes; prepare reports; and track corrective and preventive actions through completion.
- Maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including training records, inspection reports, incident reports, equipment logs, and subcontractor compliance records.
- Coordinate with project supervisors, workers, subcontractors, clients, and head office to communicate safety requirements, emerging risks, and outstanding corrective actions.
- Monitor the safe use of tools, equipment, access systems, fall-protection systems, hazardous products, and waterproofing materials in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Support regulatory or client inspections, provide requested documentation, and follow up on any orders, observations, or recommendations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by coaching site personnel, encouraging hazard reporting, and reinforcing accountability for safe work practices.

Requirements
- 5+ years as a supervisor or project manager successfully executing and completing projects in division 7
- Experience in waterproofing and thin systems considered and asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Procore.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail,
- Excels in a team environment, but can also work independently
