Schedule: Days, evenings and weekends based on client needs

Work Location: In clients' homes throughout Calgary

We are currently looking for compassionate, dependable and professional Health Care Aides / Home Care Providers to join our growing Calgary team.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Provider with Rocky Pine Home Care, you will provide personalized one-on-one support based on each client's individual care plan.

Responsibilities may include

- Assisting with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Supporting mobility, walking and safe transfers
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when required
- Providing medication reminders or assistance within your permitted scope
- Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry and maintaining a safe home environment
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands and community activities
- Supporting clients with exercises and daily routines
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or behaviour
- Completing accurate care notes and documentation
- Following individualized care plans and Rocky Pine Home Care policies
- Communicating professionally with clients, families and the care team

What We're Looking For We are looking for caregivers who are compassionate, patient and genuinely enjoy helping others.

For Health Care Aide positions:

- Health Care Aide education/certification




- Current registration and valid practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)

Additional requirements:

- Previous home-care, senior-care or caregiving experience is an asset
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle strongly preferred
- Ability to travel to clients' homes within Calgary
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living

Experience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, disabilities, mobility challenges or palliative-care needs is considered an asset. Why Join Rocky Pine Home Care?
