Araujo Sportswear & Promotions is looking for a reliable and detail oriented Heat Press Operator to join our growing team in the Kitchener Waterloo area.
We specialize in custom team apparel, school spirit wear, corporate apparel and promotional products. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can help with the production and fulfillment of apparel orders.
Responsibilities
- Operating commercial heat presses to apply DTF transfers, names, numbers and logos to apparel
- Accurately positioning artwork on T shirts, hoodies, jackets, team apparel and other garments
- Following production sheets and artwork specifications
- Checking garments and prints for quality before and after pressing
- Sorting and organizing apparel by customer and order
- Folding, packing and preparing completed orders
- Keeping the production area clean and organized
- Assisting with general apparel production and order fulfillment when required
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment during busy periods
- Positive organizational skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and handle boxes of apparel
- Previous heat press, DTF, screen printing, embroidery or apparel production experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
Position Details Position: Part Time Heat Press Operator
Hours: Approximately 10 to 20 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible weekday hours
Pay: Starting at $18+ per hour depending on experience
Location: Kitchener Waterloo, Ontario
