Position: Healthcare Security Guard (Full Time or Part Time)

Pay Rate: $18.35 - $22.61/hour

:

- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols of interior and exterior areas, including in inclement weather
- Respond to emergency, medical, and fire incidents while remaining calm and professional
- Perform Patient Watch, investigate routine incidents, and enforce parking, smoking, and site by-laws
- Maintain accurate reports and notes for incidents and end-of-shift documentation
- Apply advanced de-escalation skills and enforce site policies, rules, and regulations
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and support site operations
- Present a professional presence, uphold client and company expectations,



and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Authorized to legally work in Canada
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
- Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
- Ability to explicit a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)

Please be aware: The MOAB/UoF training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
- The MOAB/UoF training is held in person at the designated branch.
