Hello! Our team is looking for an enthuasitic heat-press operator to apply graphic design prints onto various clothing. Previous experience is a must!
Specific Duties
- Ensure all order aspects are properly organized, correct and complete.
- Ensure completed products adhere to job specifications and meet the quality of work standards.
- Operate a small heat press to apply customization aspects (names, numbers, logos, labels) to apparel.
- Prepare heat transfers for application of names and numbers on customized apparel.
- Accurately report any quality issues to supervisor(s).
- General production tasks as required, such as bagging and tagging apparel and assisting in inventory counts.
- Maintain a protected and clean work environment by keeping shelves, storage areas and workstations tidy, including updating bin storage in the most efficient way possible to accommodate fluid stock levels.
- Ensure work area meets company standards checklist at the end of every shift.
- Pick and pack orders from inventory
- Create shipping labels
Technical Considerations
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- On-site training provided for the entire scope of work
- Design background or experience in clothing customization or manufacturing preferred.
Candidate Qualifications Individuals successful in this role must be a team players willing to pitch in as needed, as well as be very focused and extremely detail-oriented, good with their hands, and have good eyesight and spacial sense.
Candidates must have solid time management skills, be able to read and understand production work orders and be able to stay calm and work under the pressure of tight timelines.
Candidates must be physically able to carry boxes of 20-50lbs, operate a heat press (pneumatic automatic heat presses), and spend most of their workday standing.
