Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling heavy equipment used on highway, farming, and other industries. These duties will be performed in shop and out on on the road or on site with our mobile service truck.

Duties

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment components
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Utilize power tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Collaborate with dealership representatives for technical support when necessary

Qualifications

- Mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing heavy equipment




- Familiarity with Caterpillar & Cummins engines
- Ability to work on HVAC systems in heavy equipment
- Proficiency in welding and assembling metal components
- Understanding of schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience working with farm machinery is a plus
- Competency in using various power tools for repairs
- Capability to dig into complex mechanical issues

Job Type: Full time Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

- mechanical: 6 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- Journeyman (preferred)
- Trade Certificate (preferred)
