Inertia is looking for a full-time heavy duty mechanic to handle the maintenance and repair of their hydrovac, vac truck, rock slinger and pick up fleet.

The Position:

- Dayshift from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (shift timing is somewhat flexible).
- Occasional opportunity for overtime when required, some weekend work if required.
- Handle the regular maintenance and repairs of a fleet of 21 hydrovac/vac trucks/rock slingers and 5 pickups.
- All trucks are 2019 and newer.

Requirements:

- Valid Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman Certificate.
- Minimum 5-10 years of heavy-duty mechanic experience
- CVIP License and experience is a significant asset.
- Self-starter with the ability to work alone for portions of the shift.
- Experience with the repair and maintenance of hydrovac trucks is a significant asset.
- Must have your own tools.




- Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep a tidy shop and keep jobs and deadlines on schedule.
- Class 3 or 1 license is an asset.
- Experience operating a hydrovac truck is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
