Job Summary

Lime Stone Cowboys Industries Limited is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our energetic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on Fleet of trucks, trailers and heavy machinery, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), low-voltage systems, motors, pumps, and belts.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory.
- Conduct welding, boiler maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting, and industrial electrician tasks as needed to ensure equipment functionality.




- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and enhance overall equipment reliability.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), low-voltage electrical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Skilled in welding techniques, boiler operation/maintenance, HVAC systems, and industrial electrician work.
- Ability to analyze complex problems quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and support customer service initiatives when necessary.
