Location: Seaforth, Ontario (Rural location - personal transportation required)

Wage: $17.60 - $19.00 per hour

Hours: 40–60 hours per week

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Hog Farm Worker to join our team. This is a full-time position in a rural setting. No previous farming experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Feed and tend pigs
- Sort and vaccinate pigs
- Maintain barn facilities and farm infrastructure
- Monitor the health of the pigs and provide necessary treatment
- Prepare pigs for transportation
- Follow safety and biosecurity procedures
- Maintain barn records
- Set and monitor air flow and temperature in barn, water systems and heating systems
- Maintain inventory and order materials
- May operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

Qualifications




- No education or previous experience required
- Willingness to learn and work with livestock
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a farm environment
- Reliable and dependable
- Personal transportation is required, as the farm is located in a rural area

Compensation & Perks
- $17.60 - $19 per hour
- 40–60 hours per week
- Performance-based bonus available following the successful completion of the probationary period
- On-the-job training provided
