Milani Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. The Lower Mainland's largest plumbing, heating & air conditioning service company is seeking HVAC Apprentices.

Opportunity to get apprentice sponsorship for individuals who wish to begin a career in this field. On completion of the program, the Apprentice can gain a Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement. This is a paid position.

Apprentices will get to assist in the following jobs:

- Install and troubleshoot heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems;
- Cut, measure, assemble, install heating components such as compressors, motors, controls, circulating pipes, condensers using hand and power tools;
- Connect piping by using welding and brazing equipment;
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing;
- Install, calibrate and repair control systems;
- Test and repair / replace damage parts of ventilation and heat pump system and electronic components.
- Read blueprints, drawing, specification and layout location point for installation;
- Start the system and check leaks using testing devices;
- Prepare work estimate for client and make report for the management.
- No experience necessary, you just need to be hardworking, open to training and positive. If you are looking to get into this industry then this is the job for you!

Previous experience is an asset

Job Duties

- You will assist a lead technician on any of our HVAC or Plumbing projects
- You will be used as a helper on a wide variety of jobs and projects outside of the above

Education, Experience, and Language:
- Must be functional in English.

Skills Requirements:
- Ability to work long hours, weekends and/or early mornings as required.
- Ability to work on-call as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions
- Ability to offer extended services to our customers
- Heavy lifting may be required at times.
- Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to troubleshoot on plumbing.
- The driver's license is clean and shows safe driving.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
