This is an opportunity for an experienced HVAC service technician to manage a large maintaining HVAC systems.

This position is not to support a term project, rather ongoing for the foreseeable future.

This position is based in Fort St. John, British Columbia.



The successful applicant must reside in Fort St. John or be willing to relocate to the community.

Core Responsibilities

- Maintenance: Run regular inspections, clean air ducts, replace filters, and test system efficiency.
- Repair: Find electrical or mechanical faults, fix leaks, and replace broken parts using specialized tools.
- Customer Service: Explain system problems and maintenance tips to clients.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma plus a technical school certificate, trade diploma, or formal apprenticeship.
- Licensing/Certification: Valid driver's license, local trade licenses, and specific safety or refrigerant certifications (such as EPA 608).
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics, and good problem-solving skills.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy parts and work in tight spaces or outdoors in extreme weather.

Pay: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
