HVAC Technician – Northwood Propane Limited

We specialize in installing, servicing, and maintaining furnaces and other propane-fired appliances for residential and small commercial customers. Our team takes pride in providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service across the Kawartha Lakes region.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, organization, and attention to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, service, and maintain propane-fired furnaces and appliances
- Diagnose and repair heating systems and related equipment
- Work independently or collaboratively to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with customers
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications:

- Valid G2 Gas Fitter Licence (required)





- AC Certificate (an asset)
- Valid G Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract (required)
- DZ Licence (considered an asset)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to self-organize and manage time effectively

Compensation and Benefits:

- Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications
- Benefits package available after probationary period
- Company vehicle provided for day-to-day work (may be taken home when on-call)
