North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services seeks an In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and strategic guidance to child protection staff, and to represent the Agency before all levels of court. The ideal candidate is a lawyer in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario, with CYFSA/PHIPA knowledge and strong litigation skills.
The role requires travel in the NEOFACS area, including fly-in communities along the James Bay coast.
