Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, construction, and industrial electrical work. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various projects, including renovation and new construction sites.

Candidates should be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics, working with low voltage systems, and using a variety of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to install or repair electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
- Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, communication lines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers,



engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or hazards before they become problems.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical upgrades or renovations as needed.

Experience

- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or licensed electrical contractor with a solid understanding of construction environments.
- Robust knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience working on renovation projects as well as new construction sites.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work in industrial settings.
- Maintenance Person experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety standards across all projects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $100.00 per hour
