The primary goal of the on scene Fire fighter is to provide fire and shower support to workers onsite, demonstrate and encourage a positive Safety Culture.

Qualifications and Requirements

- NFPA 1081 or 1001
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- CSO
- Driver’s License
- Clean Commercial Driver Abstract
- Class 3 Driver's License ( Required)
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English (oral and written)
- Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Be fluent in Industry Recommended Practices, local, provincial, federal regulatory requirements
- Be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are an asset
- Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations
- Ability to read and interpret information given
- Learn and apply new information or skills
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Plan, organize and implement a number of duties and reports
- Ability to travel areas of Alberta and other provinces and territories for extended periods of time on an ongoing basis
