Inside Sales – Heavy Equipment Parts

Atlantic Coastal Equipment Limited is a leading supplier to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. We are a locally owned and operated company providing equipment sales, parts and service for a variety of equipment. Our success is built on the superior product lines we represent, long-standing relationships with customers and an exceptional and dedicated team.

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales - Heavy Equipment Parts representative to join our team in Truro, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be an adaptive team player who is highly focused, willing to learn and driven by customer satisfaction.

This is a permanent, full-time, on site position of 40 hours per week, with some overtime as required. This is not a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities

· Providing exceptional customer service when taking orders, troubleshooting and looking up parts

· Interacting with suppliers effectively, placing and tracking urgent orders, updating pricing

· Entering sales orders and quotes, purchasing, filling POs, creating part numbers

· Working with a variety of communication platforms: online portals, excel, server library, text messages, emails, phone calls

· Navigating inventory systems and helping with period cycle counts and inventory management





· Greeting and assisting front counter customers in a friendly and skilled manner

· Learning from and assisting co-workers on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a Parts Department for construction, forestry, agriculture, or industrial supply is mandatory

· A good mechanical aptitude

· Customer service and/or sales experience

· Professional communication skills, both interpersonal and digital

· Experience with Microsoft products and proficient in keyboarding

· Valid Class 05 Driver’s license
