Instrument Technician (Journeyman)

Vault Group is currently seeking to hire an Instrument Technician to join our Team working at a remote mine in northern Saskatchewan near McIlvenna Bay.

Pay: negotiable

Location: McIlvenna Bay, SK

Tentative Start Date: October 5, 2026

The ideal candidate is punctual, self-motivated, and able to think critically and work through tasks with minimal supervision.

What we Offer

- Rate: to negotiate based on expertise
- Rotation: 14 days on and 7 days off
- Shift: 12hrs work per day, applicable overtime
- Camp provided
- Flights to Saskatoon provided, bus to site, or travel allowance $300 each way to drive.

Requirements:

- Journeyman certification
- ABSA certified & experience would be an asset
- TSASK requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to read drawings and follow instructions




- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Self motivated
- Safety-focused mindset
- Basic electrical hand and power tools
- Valid safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, Fall arrest, First Aid – preferred)

Scope of Work:

- Instrument installation, tubing, calibrations, commissioning
- Working with a team to meet project timelines
- Working alongside other trades to maintain schedule
- Basic troubleshooting and commissioning support
