Dosanjh, CPA Professional Corporation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Intermediate Accountant for our office located in Windsor, ON. This position is responsible for providing bookkeeping, Accounting and Tax services to the firms Partners, Managers and team. This position requires exceptional communication and customer service skills in a fast paced, high energy environment.

Responsibilities

- Process and assemble tax returns and extensions - including scanning, collating and binding of documents
- Perform bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks/Sage/Simply including entering invoices, bills recording payments received from clients, recording bill payments to vendors, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, entering closing and adjusting entries and scrutiny of ledger accounts
- Ensure all Balance Sheet Accounts (prepaid, accruals and deferrals etc.) are reconciled on a monthly basis and that they are supported by supporting documents
- Validate and file electronically quarterly and yearly returns for Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)
- Prepare T1 (Personal Tax Returns), T2 (Corporate Tax Returns) & Financial Statements under compilation engagement




- Process payroll and compute yearly salary in form T4 (T4 Summary)

Requirements:
- Must have a University Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Enrollment in CPA Program will be an asset
- Must have 2- 4 years of Canadian Accounting/Tax experience
- Must be fluent in English, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Must have Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point/Quick books/Sage 50 and Outlook skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven multi-tasker
