The opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor, IT Value & Supplier Management, the IT Supplier & Planning Analyst will help optimize the cost, value and quality of IT services. This role will focus on supporting procurement activities for the Information Services and Digital Solutions division, while also supporting financial management work as a secondary focus to the role. You will partner with IT leaders, Finance, Legal, Procurement and suppliers to strengthen planning, financial oversight, contract administration and resource capacity management.

What you will do

- Coordinate procurement intake, sourcing, prioritization and contract renewals to help ensure goods and services are available when needed.

- Support contract and supplier management, including expectations, deliverables, performance, approvals and spend controls.

- Administer purchase orders from creation through modification, receipt and closure, and help address quality or compliance issues.

- Engage internal stakeholders and suppliers to align procurement decisions with business needs and organizational requirements.

- Support monthly, quarterly and annual IT financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, reviews of actuals and variance explanations.

- Track and analyze IT spending, validate coding and allocations, prepare expense information, and help resolve billing or vendor discrepancies.





- Manage invoices through accurate review, timely processing, appropriate allocation and identification of cost-saving opportunities.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports that support decision-making and compliance requirements.

- Forecast and report on IT resource capacity, review actual versus planned time allocations, and support variance analysis and data quality.

- Help align resource allocations with approved statements of work and contracts, including sourcing fee-for-service resources.

What you bring

- An undergraduate degree or community college diploma in Business or Office Administration, with three to five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- At least five years of relevant experience in accounting, budget administration and purchasing.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with financial, procurement and resource-planning information.

- A solid understanding of IT terminology, licensing and commercial agreements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the initiative to work independently and follow through on priorities.

- Clear written and verbal communication, robust interpersonal skills, and effective time management.

- A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute effectively in a close team environment.
