Itinerant Music Teacher, Fixed Term

Our College Arts Faculty would like to invite applications from itinerant music teachers, to offer music lessons at our college for the 2027 academic year. Applicants must be highly motivated, organised and committed, with the ability to inspire and equip our learners to succeed in their chosen instruments. The right candidates will be adaptable, reliable and committed to our school and able to support our growing Music department.

The expectation would be that the successful candidates would support our NCEA music students with their performance assessments and support the growth and development of the co-curricular music groups at Whangaparāoa College.

Please state the musical instruments you are able to provide lessons for.

Hours of work will be dependent on the needs of our learners in 2027. Current itinerant music teachers are welcome to reapply for ITM positions and will be considered alongside current applicants.

These are fixed-term positions for 2027. Remuneration will depend on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.
