Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic IV Therapy Health Care Professional, RN (Registered Nurse), or NP (Nurse Practitioner) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert intravenous therapy, including medication administration, fluid management, and pain control, across diverse patient settings. Your expertise will ensure protected, efficient, and compassionate care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, seniors, and those with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

- Administer IV therapies such as medications, fluids, and nutrients accurately and safely according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient responses, and medication administration using electronic health records systems like Epic and Cerner.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures for blood draws and laboratory specimen collection with precision.
- Educate patients and their families on IV therapy processes, post-treatment care, and medication safety.




- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control protocols in hospital, outpatient, or home care settings.

Qualifications

- Valid RN or NP license with current certification in your practicing state.
- Proven experience in hospital or acute care environments with a focus on IV therapy and pain management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration techniques, and laboratory procedures.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors, dementia patients, assisted living residents, and those requiring senior or home care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner is highly preferred.
- Skilled in case management practices with excellent patient care skills.
- Additional experience in nursing home settings or medical office environments is advantageous.
- Ability to perform venipuncture (phlebotomy), understand medical protocols thoroughly, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
