Oil City Electric is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We're a locally owned Edmonton electrical contractor working on commercial, light-industrial, service and maintenance projects. We're not trying to be the biggest electrical company in town.

We want to build a team of good electricians who take pride in their work, know their trade and want to be somewhere they're treated with respect and trusted to do the job right. What you'll get is $41–$44/hour, depending on experience and ability

We're looking for a Journeyman who: Has solid commercial/light-industrial experience, can install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Is comfortable installing conduit and pulling cable

Can read drawings and electrical plans

Has a strong understanding of the CEC Can work independently and solve problems in the field

Takes pride in quality workmanship

Shows up, works hard and does what they say they're going to do

Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation Safety tickets are an asset.
