Northland School Division is seeking a Full-Time Journeyman Plumber with experience in facility maintenance. For more information about what Northland School Division offers, please visit.

Major responsibilities include:

- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance in HVAC systems.
- Conduct Preventative maintenance inspections and related tasks for HVAC and plumbing equipment in school division facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe, clean and orderly environment.
- Work on projects identified by Manager or Supervisors requiring the services of skilled craftsperson(s).
- Perform various maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and building envelopes.
- Inspect and ensure the secure operation of equipment, making adjustments, calibrations, replacements, rebuilds, and repairs as necessary.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging services from external vendors.
- Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts and order them as needed.
- Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Perform other assigned job-related duties.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Journeyman Plumber certification is required.
- Gasfitter Class A ticket is preferred.
- Experience with building management systems is preferred.
- Experience in commercial or school facility maintenance is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal,



communication and time management skills.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license is required.

Pay and Schedule:

- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- 8-hour days, 5 days per week. Weekend off with some availability for emergency callouts if required.
- Company vehicle and gas card supplied for work duties and emergency callouts.
- Company cell phone supplied.
