Valard Construction seeks Journeyperson Powerline Technicians in Timmins, Ontario, to work on groundbreaking electrical distribution projects. As part of our team, you will report directly to the Construction Foreman, engaged in the construction of overhead and underground power distribution systems.

This role emphasizes the importance of safety and mentorship of junior personnel. Candidates should be ready to join the CUSW and reside locally. Key Responsibilities:

- Install and test various electrical components and systems
- Model safety practices and inspect job sites
- Mentor and train apprentices in live line work
- Conduct hazard assessments and maintain safety compliance
- Complete daily reports and documentation Requirements:
- Certified Journeyperson Powerline Technician (434A or Red Seal)
- Experience in energized electrical work and installations
- Class 4 Rubber Glove certification preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics
