Junior Accountant, Coop/InternJob Description

About the role: The junior accountant Co-op will have opportunities to expose to full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst on recording business transactions and analyzing business performance.

Responsibilities

- Develop technical skills in areas such as: bookkeeping, compilation, and audit
- Summarize current financial status by collaborating with the team and preparing relevant documentations and reports in a monthly manner
- Assist in all functions of monthly closing, not limited to preparing, posting journal entries
- Assist with tracking banking records and reconciliations with high standard documentation related to various investments, including Hedge Fund, PE, Securities, Bonds, etc.
- Assist with data automation project on reconciliation, finance close and reporting, and any ad-hoc projects as required

What You Need To Succeed Must-haves

- 3rd or 4th year student majoring in Accounting or any other Finance related fields
- Advanced MS Office and excellent Excel skills
- Knowledge of Excel - VBA or Python language is an asset
- Self-starter who volunteers for new opportunities and projects




- Ability to work towards and meet agreed deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
- Being fluent in both English and Chinese is considered as an asset.
- Available to begin by January 4, 2027, with an expected commitment of approximately 8 months
