Qualifications:

- Recent graduate in Mechanical, Industrial or a related Engineering field.
- 0–3 years of engineering or manufacturing experience; co-op, internship, and hands-on manufacturing experience considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of CAD software and mechanical drawings.
- Strong documentation, organization, and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Set-up Reduction, or Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Product design or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Window and door manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and hands-on engineering

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the development and implementation of design and process changes to improve quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing performance.
- Support the preparation, maintenance, and organization of documentation related to structural and thermal testing.




- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with introducing and improving manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Analyze existing production methods and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce setup times, and minimize waste.
- Support the development and implementation of cost-reduction initiatives.
- Assist with the specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Work with suppliers, customers, production, and other internal departments to investigate and resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Design and develop basic fixtures, jigs, tooling, and other manufacturing aids.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving manufacturing and product design issues.
- Conduct time studies and assist with analyzing production data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Review Special Product Requests and assist in determining production requirements and purchased-part needs.
- Prepare engineering documentation, drawings, work instructions, and process updates as required.
- Support production with day-to-day technical problem solving.
- Learn and apply company manufacturing standards, processes, and quality requirements.
