Core Role & Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Operations

- Oversee shop-floor workflow at the Delta facility, spanning cutting, CNC machining, edgebanding, assembly, and finishing.
- Interpret shop drawings and cut lists into daily production schedules to meet project completion dates.
- Manage raw material inventory (MDF, plywood, hardwoods, hinges, drawer slides, and finishes).

Quality Control & Safety

- Conduct strict inspections on dimensional accuracy, joint quality, edgebanding adhesion, and lacquer/paint finish consistency.
- Enforce WorkSafeBC safety regulations, dust collection maintenance, and proper PPE compliance.
- Troubleshoot production errors, material defects, and hardware fitting issues on the fly.

Team Leadership & Machine Maintenance

- Supervise, schedule, and train shop technicians, CNC machinists, assemblers,



and sander/sprayers.
- Implement regular preventative maintenance schedules for CNC routers, panel saws, edgebanders, and spray booth systems.

Key Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years in millwork or custom kitchen cabinet production, with direct supervisory or management experience.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of frameless (European style) and face-frame cabinetry, hardware systems (Blum, Salice, Grass), and wood finishes.
- Software: Proficiency with cabinet nested-based design software (such as Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or AutoCAD) and basic ERP/inventory systems.
- Location & Availability: Ability to work on-site at the Delta facility (Annacis Island / Eaton Way area).
