Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Expo / Cashier to join our team. This position plays an important role in connecting the kitchen with our guests and front-of-house team. Responsibilities include managing takeout and pickup orders, handling cash and card payments, answering phone calls, assisting customers, and overseeing the Expo station.

The ideal candidate will ensure that every order is accurate, properly garnished, well-presented, and ready on time. This role also includes keeping garnish and food backups fully stocked, maintaining an organized workstation, and working closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Duties

- Manage the Expo station, ensuring all orders are accurate, complete, properly plated, and ready on time.
- Garnish and finish dishes according to restaurant presentation standards before they leave the kitchen.
- Prepare and maintain backup garnishes and expo supplies, ensuring the station is fully stocked throughout the shift.




- Monitor and refill food backups in the buffet/service area as needed to maintain smooth and continuous service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and food runners to ensure orders are prepared and delivered efficiently.
- Package takeout and delivery orders carefully, including all required sides, sauces, utensils, and other items.
- Keep the Expo, cashier, takeout, and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Handle all takeout and pickup orders, from receiving the order to preparing and handing it to the customer.
- Greet and assist takeout customers, answer questions, confirm orders, and provide friendly and professional service.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately using the POS system and perform general cashier duties.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take phone orders, and assist customers with menu and order-related questions.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
