Part time / Full-Time THE FISH MAN is looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.

Previous wok experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in Chinese cooking who wants to learn professional kitchen skills and eventually develop into a cook.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other ingredients
- Assist with daily prep and kitchen organization
- Support cooks during service
- Read kitchen tickets and assist with calling/organizing orders
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Learn Chinese kitchen workflow and cooking techniques
- Gradually train on wok and other cooking stations based on performance

What We’re Looking For

- Must be able to read Chinese kitchen tickets
- Must be able to communicate in Mandarin during kitchen service




- Basic English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in Chinese cooking and wok cooking
- Kitchen experience is an asset, but not required

Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
