Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Labourer/Tile Setter to join our agile construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality tile installation on pool projects across various recreation facilities. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks with preparation, installation, and finishing work, ensuring that each project meets our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

- Prepare work areas by cleaning , pressure washing surfaces,and setting up tools and materials for projects
- Assist with the layout and blueprint reading to ensure accurate placement of tIke’s , hand rails diving boards, water features , grating materials according to project specifications.
- Use and provide your own hand tools such as trowels, saws, levels, and chisels to cut, shape, and install tiles or flooring materials efficiently along with any other job necessary
- Lay tiles or set rails or anchors with precision, ensuring proper adhesion, alignment. Including finishing details like caulking for a polished look




- Support carpentry tasks related to subfloor preparation or forming as needed for stable installation surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

- Proven experience with construction activities, especially in general construction and tile laying
- Proficiency with hand tools used in tiling and carpentry tasks
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
- Hands-on experience with handyman tasks related to general repairs or maintenance is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in various conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
