Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Land Development Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of land development projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in driving the successful planning, coordination, and execution of development initiatives that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, civil engineering, and project leadership, with a passion for transforming land into thriving communities.

Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and permits.
- Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project development phases effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other tools to monitor progress and manage documentation.
- Conduct detailed construction estimating to establish accurate budgets and resource allocations for each project phase.
- Oversee site development activities including grading, drainage, utilities installation, and infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate with teams on schematic designs and civil plans to optimize land use and compliance with zoning laws.




- Implement rigorous time management practices to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction management or civil engineering related to land development projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for complex site plans.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with project management platforms including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D or similar programs.
- Familiarity with construction estimating procedures and civil site development processes.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and translate technical drawings into actionable tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Construction experience within residential, commercial or industrial land development sectors is highly desirable.
