Job Overview

Lease & Real Estate Administrator (1 year contract). This is a onsite role []. Contract: Duration: 1 year. Target Salary Range: $66,671 - $113,578.

Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly rent administration, lease audits, and occupancy cost management to ensure compliance with lease terms and financial requirements.
- Analyze financial and real estate data, develop budgets and forecasts, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain the integrity of real estate systems and reporting tools, ensuring accurate data and reliable portfolio information.
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, landlords, developers, and external stakeholders to advance real estate projects and initiatives.
- Reporting on key performance indicators, variance analysis, and IFRS16 compliance.
- Investigate property tax assessments, appeals, and compliance activities.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Real Estate Administration & Analysis.

About the Role

- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, landlords, developers, and external stakeholders to advance real estate projects and initiatives.
- Provide expertise and guidance on lease administration, responding to inquiries and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Oversee rent administration, lease audits, and occupancy cost management to ensure compliance with lease terms and financial requirements.
- Analyze financial and real estate data, develop budgets and forecasts,



and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain the integrity of real estate systems and reporting tools, ensuring accurate data and reliable portfolio information.

About You

Education & Credentials:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS16, property tax methodology.

You have strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and balance the needs of internal and external stakeholders. You are confident managing negotiations, resolving disputes, and identifying practical solutions that support business objectives. You bring strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to assess risks, evaluate opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations. You are comfortable working with budgets, forecasts, and financial information to support strategic decision-making. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with stakeholders across the business while knowing when to seek guidance and alignment on key decisions. You are proactive, resourceful, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
