**Role Description<

The Licensed Insurance Advisor is responsible for providing personalized insurance and investment advice to individual and group clients in a remote capacity.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, assessing needs and risk profiles, preparing recommendations and quotes, and explaining coverage options across life, health, travel, and other insurance products.
The Advisor will manage client portfolios, assist with applications and underwriting requirements, and support clients through claims processes.
The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product and regulatory knowledge, following compliance standards, and contributing to business development through networking, referrals, and ongoing client relationship management.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Insurance, including life, health, travel, and related products.
- Foundational understanding of Finance, investment vehicles, and basic financial planning concepts.
- Consulting skills with the ability to assess client needs, analyze options, and present suitable solutions.
- Customer Service skills focused on responsiveness, empathy, and long-term relationship building.
- Clear and qualified Communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening abilities.
- Valid insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the relevant Canadian province(s).
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems; ability to conduct virtual meetings securely and effectively.
- Previous experience in brokerage, financial services, or advisory roles is an asset.
