Start date: As soon as possible

:

· Monday to Friday regular shifts with some overtime and weekends

· On-call approximately 8 weeks per year

· Candidates that are looking for a part time position are also encouraged to apply

Your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

· Working on various residential, commercial, municipal and industrial sites

· Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures, pumps, valves, water meters and other plumbing equipment/systems used for water distribution and waste water disposal

· Assist with cost estimates

· Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems

· Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.

· Measure, cut,



bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines

· Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

· Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges

· Work in confined spaces

Experience – Skills - Requirements:

· Looking for a mechanically inclined plumber to support small and large residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects

· Must be experienced, licensed and highly motivated

· Physically fit and must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces

· Must provide clean CPIC (criminal record check)

· Valid driver’s license

· Bilingual – an asset

· Reliable and able to work independently

· Strong communication skills

· Represent the company in a professional manner
