Line Cook The Greek Kouzina Express

$20.00 to $24.00 per hour + approximately $3.00 to $5.00 per hour in tips The Greek Kouzina Express is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our growing team at our Westsyde restaurant.

We are a locally owned and operated Greek restaurant with a busy dine in and takeout operation, as well as a food truck and catering division. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced kitchen, takes pride in the food they prepare, and understands the importance of quality, consistency and teamwork.

Compensation

- $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience and ability
- Tip pool averaging approximately $3.00 to $5.00 per hour
- Combined earning potential of approximately $23.00 to $29.00 per hour
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours and advancement

What You’ll Be Doing

- Preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Working efficiently on the line during busy service periods
- Maintaining consistent portions, quality and presentation
- Completing daily preparation and maintaining appropriate prep levels
- Following food safety, sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Properly labeling, dating and rotating products
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Communicating effectively with kitchen and front of house staff
- Supporting catering and food truck preparation when required





What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of recent professional cooking experience preferred
- Strong line cooking and food preparation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn our recipes and systems
- FoodSafe Level 1 preferred
- Must be available evenings and weekends
