LinkedIn Copywriter – Global Tech Brand

Canada | Freelance | Remote | Part-time – 1 day per week

We’re looking for a talented junior to mid-level Copywriter to support the Canadian communications team of a major global technology brand, creating content for the launch and ongoing development of a new LinkedIn Canada Showcase page.

You’ll take ideas, updates and key messages and turn them into sharp, well-written LinkedIn content – finding the right angle, adapting the tone for a Canadian audience and keeping content varied and relevant.

Writing is the main focus, but there’s a creative element too. You’ll occasionally work with existing templates and AI tools to produce simple visual assets, with the opportunity to support basic social video edits if that’s in your skillset.

What you'll be doing:

- Writing LinkedIn content for a recent Canada-focused Showcase page
- Turning briefs, updates and key messages into concise, engaging posts
- Finding strong angles and shaping content specifically for LinkedIn
- Adapting global messaging for a Canadian audience




- Maintaining a consistent tone of voice across different content themes
- Creating simple visual assets using templates and AI tools
- Supporting basic social video edits where relevant

What you'll bring:

- Strong copywriting skills and experience writing for social channels
- A good understanding of LinkedIn and how writing for the platform differs from other social content
- The ability to take a rough brief or key message and turn it into polished copy
- Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
- Confidence working within an established brand voice while adapting content for different audiences
- Basic design skills and experience working with templates or simple creative tools
- An interest in using AI tools as part of the content creation process
- Basic CapCut or social video editing skills would be a bonus
- Based in Canada
