Stark Lumber has proudly served the Niagara Region since 1949. We are a locally owned business specializing in lumber, plywood, roof trusses, and engineered wood products. Our in-house design services support contractors and home builders on a wide range of projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on labourer to support both our lumber yard and truss shop. Responsibilities will vary each day based on customer orders and production needs.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys physical work, collaborates well with others, and is comfortable moving between tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

- Keep the lumber yard and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist forklift operators with gathering materials and preparing customer orders.
- Secure lumber loads for delivery.
- Assist customers picking up orders in the lumber yard.
- Assist with roof truss manufacturing.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.

Skills

- Previous lumber yard experience is an asset; one year is preferred.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Ability to regularly lift and handle materials weighing 66 lbs or more.
- Basic math skills.




- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience with building materials and related tools or manufacturing equipment is an asset.
- A positive attitude and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and daily priorities.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
