Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the hotel’s facilities. This role ensures that guests and staff enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and building systems
- Carry out basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with equipment, fixtures, and appliances
- Maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in proper working order
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and hotel quality standards
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and record keeping
- Report major issues or safety hazards to management immediately




- Support housekeeping and other departments when needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory

Qualifications

- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role (hotel experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts if required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
