GENERAL MANAGER – A PATHWAY TO MANAGING PARTNER & OWNERSHIP

YOU ARE A vibrant, hospitality-focused leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who can build, manage and lead a remarkable Team. For our golf course opportunities, you know and love sports and hospitality. You are ambitious, love to win, and have a track record of leading people, launching products or growing sales.

You put Guests’ needs above all else and strive for sales and service excellence in all areas of the business. You have an aptitude for developing strategies that lead to annual growth and the ability to communicate your objectives to various levels of Staff within the organization in ways that promote collaboration as part of one Team.

You will begin as a General Manager with a clearly defined performance plan and objectives. For the right leader who demonstrates the ability to build Teams, grow the business, create strong systems and deliver results, there is a defined pathway to becoming a Managing Partner with ownership in the business.

REQUIREMENTS

· Be enthusiastic and energetic while demonstrating a genuine positive demeanor when motivating and leading the Team

· Live and uphold the company vision, mission and values while creating an exceptional culture

· Drive annual revenue and EBITDA growth through disciplined execution and new revenue opportunities

· Continuously improve Guest satisfaction, retention and the overall Guest experience

· Oversee daily operations and reporting of KPIs

· Manage and oversee operations through action, with a presence on the floor during service periods, while planning, coordinating, executing, supervising and evaluating all activities

· Sales forecasting and implementation of strategies for growth

· Build, coach and develop robust leaders while creating clear accountability through KPIs

· Attract, retain, train and develop great Team Members

· Effectively manage a wide range of human resource challenges and opportunities, including Team Member performance, conflict resolution, coaching, development and difficult conversations, with fairness, consistency and professionalism

· Develop and implement systems that allow the business to operate effectively without depending on any one individual

· Fiscal responsibility and cost management, including annual budgeting and P&L; review

· Schedule managers and hourly employees to sales budgets

· Promote the brand through social media platforms, respond to online reviews,



maintain an active community presence and encourage Guest engagement

· Follow up on large party reservations and Event bookings

· Collaborate with the Chef to ensure consistency in food quality, preparation and availability of menu items or ingredients

· Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, contractors and vendors

· Maintain Health & Safety requirements, perform or schedule routine repair and maintenance, identify areas for improvement, and implement daily systems and procedures as required

· Lead weekly management meetings to communicate sales, F&B; costs, forecasts, budgets, upcoming Events, HR needs and action plans

EDUCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 5 years of Golf, Sport, or Food and Beverage management experience

· Minimum 5 years in a management role

· Thorough knowledge of financials

· Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to POS, inventory and scheduling software, and Microsoft Office

· Food Safety, Smart Serve, Health & Safety, and W.H.M.I.S. Certifications

· Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, based on business needs

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

COMPENSATION

Competitive compensation package from $70,000 to $100,000 to start including base salary, performance-based bonus, benefits and a defined pathway to potential ownership for the right individual.

There is no investment required to become a General Manager. Should the opportunity progress to ownership, the successful candidate would be expected to make a small personal investment based on the level of ownership being acquired.

This is an opportunity to build wealth and achieve true business ownership through our Managing Partner model - without bearing the full financial risk alone.
