```Duties:```

- Machining on various pieces of equipment used in the Forestry, Mining and other heavy industries
- Equipment maintenance
- Operate metalworking machines, such as a lathe, milling machines to shape and fabricate metal parts
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure accuracy of dimensions
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications

```Qualifications:```

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Red Seal and/or Journeyman or equivalent years of experience
- People and Communications skills
- Proven experience as a metal machinist or similar role
- Proficient in operating metalworking machines such as lathes,



milling machines,
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and process
- Experience in Forestry Equipment an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
