The Stone Crock Inc is an independently owned and operated hospitality group of restaurants and food shops located in small town St. Jacobs Ontario that includes: Stone Crock Catering & Events, Jacob’s Grill, Stone Crock Bakery, The Pub, and The Stone Crock Market.

We are looking for new team members to join our Stone Crock Market team. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service and have a love for food, we would love to hear from you!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Close the store, as required
- Stock and organize shelves
- Assist customers with their needs and requests
- Slice meats and cheeses to order
- Answer the phone and assist with customer inquiries
- Perform various cleaning tasks
- Organize and rotate products
- Perform light food preparation
- Operate a variety of equipment, including a slicer, food scale and cash register

REQUIREMENTS





- Safe Food Handler's Certificate and Smart Serve certification are required, or must be obtained before starting the position.
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to endure long hours of standing and walking
- Follow all Health & Safety policies & procedures
