About the Role

ACQBUILT is looking for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our factory team. In this role, you will support production by safely moving, loading, and preparing materials used in the fabrication of residential building components.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and lifting devices.
- Ensure materials and supplies are available for production.
- Support inventory control through accurate documentation.
- Maintain workplace safety and follow quality control procedures.
- Report production issues to the team leader or supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Cut PSL beams and joists using chainsaws or 16” skill saws when required.
- Assist with general material handling and organization inside the factory.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Overhead crane experience is an asset (training provided).
- Experience using chainsaws, skill saws, drills, and sawzalls.




- Ability to read metric and imperial measuring tapes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions
- Indoor factory environment.
- Physical work including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Overtime may be required.
