Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Handler/Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution tasks, operating a forklift, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. Your expertise in mechanical systems, order picking, and equipment operation will contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive environment.

Duties

· Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies of Lamberti Canada Inc.

· Keep warehouse/ product storage areas in order.

· Store unused raw materials in the proper area when processes are complete.

· Shipping & receiving of materials (loading & unloading) both packaged & bulk materials

. Provide labels, SDS’s & placards to drivers when necessary.

· Daily & monthly inspections of equipment and materials

· Manufacture (blending)



of materials following batch ticket instructions

· Assist in stenciling, labeling, palletizing, shrink-wrapping/ banding of materials for shipment.

· Filling, labeling, prepping packaging for customer orders

· Use small hand tools and operate handling equipment.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· After-hours, on –call dispatch and customer service rotation

· Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Skills

· Forklift Certification

· TDG Certification

· WHMIS Certification

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

· Ability to follow directions

· Should be able to work closely with fellow employees

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
