Responsibilities

- Design and implement individualized math intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student data, document progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions that incorporate instructional design principles to enhance understanding of core math concepts.




- Support students with disabilities by adapting lessons and materials to ensure accessibility and inclusion in accordance with best practices in special education.
- Utilize strong communication skills to motivate students, foster a positive learning setting, and clearly explain complex math topics.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, intervention outcomes, and instructional activities for ongoing assessment and reporting.

Experience

- Prior classroom experience working with children across early childhood education settings or elementary grades is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is essential.
- Proven success in tutoring or providing targeted instruction in math or related subjects.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms for tracking student progress and managing instructional content.
- Strong writing skills for documenting interventions, progress reports, and communication with families and staff.
- Experience designing instructional materials or lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs enhances effectiveness in this role.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
