Duties
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair and assemble vehicle components
- Conduct heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely to support repair processes
- Read and interpret schematics for complex repairs and assembly procedures
- Support senior mechanics in automotive repairs, including engine work, transmission repairs, and electrical diagnostics
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repairs
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not mandatory; eager learners are welcome!
- Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques
- Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks required in vehicle maintenance
- Strong attention to detail when following schematics and technical instructions
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients when needed
- Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace
