Seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer with expert-level SolidWorks skills to support complex mechanical design and manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience with large assemblies, Teamcenter PLM, GD&T;, sheet metal, weldments, and manufacturing-focused design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create SolidWorks parametric models, drawings, and complex/large assemblies.
- Develop sheet metal, weldment, surfacing, configurations, and design-table-based designs.
- Generate production drawings with GD&T; and appropriate manufacturing specifications.
- Build and maintain large assemblies containing thousands of components.
- Optimize assemblies using Large Design Review, Lightweight, SpeedPak, simplified geometry, and display states.
- Manage Teamcenter PLM activities including ECR/ECO/ECN, EBOM/MBOM, revisions, baselines, and manufacturing releases.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply ASME Y14 drawing/GD&T; standards.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles for machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and assembly.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing/build issues with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Support prototypes and incorporate testing/manufacturing feedback into design improvements.




- Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards.

Required Qualifications:

- 8+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
- Strong experience with complex/large assemblies, parts, drawings, sheet metal, weldments, and configurations.
- Experience with Large Design Review, Lightweight and SpeedPak.
- Hands-on Teamcenter PLM experience, including EBOM/MBOM and ECR/ECO workflows.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, ASME drawing standards and tolerance stack-ups.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

Salary: The hourly rate for this position is $51 – $56 per hour.(DOE) Benefits: This a contract position does not include employer-provided benefits.
