The Position

We are looking for a capable and compassionate Medical Equipment Specialist to manage front-line customer service and sales at our Oakville showroom.

You will assist customers by telephone and in person, help them understand available equipment and rental options, process orders and coordinate the follow-up required to deliver a smooth customer experience.

This position is well suited to someone with experience in healthcare, medical equipment, pharmacy, senior living or consultative retail who combines strong customer service with excellent organization.

Responsibilities

- Assist showroom customers and respond to telephone and email inquiries.
- Recommend suitable products or rental options within the scope of the role.
- Support team leads with administrative tasks.
- Prepare quotes and process sales, rentals, payments and orders.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, installations and service requests.
- Maintain accurate customer, order and rental records.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotes, special orders and outstanding documentation.
- Support ADP applications and related administrative requirements.
- Communicate with customers, caregivers, healthcare professionals, suppliers and internal team members.
- Maintain an organized and professionally presented showroom.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum two years of experience in customer service, retail sales, reception, administration or a similar customer-facing role.
- Experience assisting customers by telephone and in person.
- Confidence discussing products, pricing, rentals and purchasing options.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated patience and professionalism when working with seniors,



caregivers or people requiring additional assistance.
- Robust organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage walk-in customers, telephone inquiries, orders and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office and point-of-sale or customer-management systems.
- Available to work Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications

- The following experience is strongly preferred and will be considered when determining compensation:
- Home healthcare or medical-equipment sales and rentals.
- Mobility, accessibility, bathroom-safety, transfer or bedroom equipment.
- Pharmacy, medical-office, retirement-living, senior-care or home-care experience.
- Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program, including forms, documentation and application tracking.
- Working with healthcare professionals, caregivers, suppliers or equipment authorizers.
- Preparing quotes, processing special orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Shopify or a comparable point-of-sale and inventory-management system.
- Direct medical-equipment and ADP experience are significant assets but are not mandatory. TrinityMed will provide product and process training to a candidate who demonstrates strong customer service, sales ability, organization and a willingness to learn.
