Moving Team Member

Location: Calgary, AB

Company: Genie Senior Services – Calgary North, Airdrie, Chestermere & Cochrane.

Job Type: On-call, average expected work is up to approximately 20 - 25 hours/week.

Compensation: $21.00–$23.50 per hour, based on experience.

Position Summary

We are looking for dependable and motivated Moving Team Members to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone with moving experience who enjoys working as a team,

solving problems, and providing excellent customer service.

While this is an on-call position based on business demand, average expected work is up to approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with our company.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding customer service; maintain professional communication with clients.
- Load, transport, and unload furniture and household belongings with care.
- Ensure items are properly wrapped, protected, and secured during transport.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck, trailer, and work environment.
- Represent a professional appearance wearing company provided branded clothing.

Qualifications

- Effective communication and people skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture throughout the day.
- Able to work adaptable,



on-call schedules including weekends.
- Previous experience in the moving industry is an asset.
- Customer-focused with a professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Must be non-smoker and non-vaper.
- Must be fluent in English to communicate with our clients and meet their requests.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must currently live in the city of Calgary or nearby areas.
- Crew pick-up location is Crowfoot LRT Station NW. Must arrive for on-schedule
